ANNE GORDON PERRY dabbles in various forms of visual art, including fused glass, jewelry making, films, and self-published books. She teaches writing, humanities, and art appreciation at the Art Institute of Dallas and Dallas College. She lives in Duncanville, Texas with her husband and five cats. She and her husband Tim recently launched a film on ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in France that is receiving wide acclaim. Anne will be coordinating the visual arts track of the retreat, working with Desert Rose artists Duffy and Jeanne Sheridan.
MICHELLE GOERING is a singer and guitarist, with a professional background in publishing. Michelle and her husband Tim, a singer and drummer, are the parents of twin college-aged sons. CHRIS RUHE is many things: he’s a musician who played professionally with his band all over New York City. He’s also the fearless host and Grand Master of Desert Rose’s own radio station KURE LP. Since its inception, Chris has taken KURE LP from a bare bones operation to a point where a team of talented DJ’s and volunteers provide 24/7 programming to the local area and around the world. The willingness to take creative risks, an unwavering belief in the power of raw talent and dedication to service have defined Chris’ approach through the years.
